Paraparaumu Doors & Joinery Ltd has two directors, father Tony and son Adam Thomson.  

Tony Thomson

Founding director of Paraparaumu Doors. Qualified joiner with 45  years of experience. The hardest worker in the factory and an all-round “know-how can-do”  attitude.

Adam Thomson

Co-director of Paraparaumu Doors. Qualified joiner with 20  years in the company. Bringing a “fresh new age” approach to evolving an already successful  company.

Managers

Daphne Thomson (Adam’s wife): Accounts and Business  Development Manager.

Responsibility for accounts, and for developing the company in a new age computer-based direction.

Tanya Tooman: Operations Manager.

An experienced office, sales and operations manager that is dedicated to efficiency and job production.

Glenn Mollison: Factory Floor Manager.

Qualified joiner with 18 years in the company. Responsible for managing factory flow and production. He also takes on challenging  joinery orders to meet customers’ needs. Glenn’s son  Trey is currently in his third year joinery apprenticeship with us  also.

The Team

Steve Sherring: Senior Head Joiner.

A qualified joiner for 35 years, Steve’s  workmanship and dedication to meeting customers’ needs consistently excels expectations. He has been with the company for 20 years, and his son Ryan has also joined the team. 

The Team

In our team of 16, we have nine valued factory-based employees, three of whom are currently doing their joinery apprenticeships. In the office we have a further three administrators. We strive for a positive workplace, and pride ourselves in being a company people want to stay with and work for, evidenced by our three sets of father-son combinations.
