Parenga House
Ōtaki Gorge
Designed as a high-end architectural home, the Parenga House showcases the beauty of natural timber through carefully crafted bespoke joinery.
Working closely with the client and builder, Paraparaumu Doors + Joinery manufactured and supplied custom exterior timber joinery, pre-hung interior veneer doors, cavity sliders, feature windows and bespoke timber doors throughout the home.
A key feature of the project is the large custom timber glazing, designed to frame the surrounding landscape while filling the home with natural light.
The project also includes handcrafted cavity sliders, oversized architectural windows, custom awning sashes, a bespoke cedar sauna door and precision-made interior veneer doors, all finished to complement the home's natural timber interior.
Every piece of joinery was custom manufactured in-house to meet the architect's vision, resulting in a seamless blend of craftsmanship, functionality and contemporary architectural design.
